ADAANA (Association for the Defense and Help of Abandoned Animals) is a non-profit association , legally founded on February 1, 2008.
ADAANA was born with the initial objective of helping existing protective associations
- contributing their support in the organization of events , to publicize the work that these protectors are doing.
- in encouraging adoptions of the animals cared for.
- raise awareness about the situation of abandoned animals in our Community, to the largest possible number of people.
But due to various circumstances, at the beginning of 2009, the ADAANA association was involved in the rescue and direct care of several cases , and little by little, it took a turn, directly managing the care and adoptions of these animals.
At the end of 2009, a small group of people joined ADAANA, most of them with previous experience in other associations, each very competent in their field and with a common goal – to help as many abandoned animals as possible – and – to promote the decrease the number of dropouts – by all possible means
